Maybe you are warping the pot when you are clamping it down causing I weird mount
Could you do this on Linux someday?
Buildzoid over at Actually Hardcore Overclocking says the RTX 3090 Kingpin Edition looks really tame compaired to the Galax RTX 3090 HOF irworld.info/show/fy-lm-h-y/aZygpZSHmNmquJk.html
Allways good to use a Ambient or Cam Microphone for backup Audio recording.
just here to comment
Curious to see what the other card can do ;)
Novideos..Nvidia's nickname
This is the real game ppl drop thousands for
love these!
$NOK to the moon 💎🙌🚀🚀🚀🌝
that is still a good score Jayson 17,765😉😉😉☺☺☺😃😃
Dude I just checked the leaderboards and noticed the new top card is made by Galax and I'm assuming its one of the Hall of Fame Cards! They're sooooo coool
I gave a like, and here's a comment for the algorithm ☺️
Fly Vince out to your shop :)
I do really enjoy these. I can also understand if people are a bit tired of it and would enjoy some more usual content prior to you doing another round of this. Would be curious how the 6900XT would do.
but why bother.. seriously
not helpful. very interesting! listened to the series while transferring my PC to a new case
Not computer related but nice RX7 background!!
I think that my fellow Finn Luumi has figured out the mounting ;) irworld.info/show/fy-lm-h-y/rqKPmJaLms2I1aY.html&ab_channel=Luumi
Comment to battle the IRworld algorithm. Also love these videos and the candid emotion
You don't tell us what software you running not sure if you can legally
Hey Don't give up Jay, I think we all enjoying you succeed and although frustrating to fail its Even more Gratifying to watch you succeed!
Amazing how the RTX 3090 crack edition is one of the best performing cards out there. I guess the productivity aspect of it translates to machines as well.
what the fuck is this lmao
Curious but what’s the point to doing these tests? Sorry noob here.
These are my favourite videos. It's good to see the thought process. It's good content.
Why not use a 5950x?
This Overclocking game is a complete waste of time!!! 😂😂😂
i realy like to see you growing with this stuff, keep on going!
keep them coming
The geek/tinkerer side of me wants to see a custom rig/microcontroller that automatically dispenses the LN2 when needed. I do wonder if that would make results more consistent
Hi good afternoon, So I’ve had this problem with my pc. When I play a big powerful game, my mic lags and cuts out, and the people that I’m playing with say I sound robotic. But it’s not my mic itself, because I’ve tried another mic and had the same issue. So it’s definitely a problem with my pc. Then I did a little more investigating and I noticed, that when I play they games, my cpu goes to around 90% to 100% usage, and I’m pretty sure that’s the problem, and I’ve tried ways the reduce my cpu usage, but non works when I play these games, and when other people’s cpu goes to the same numbers as me, there mics don’t lag, it’s just me. So I don’t know if it’s because of high cpu usage, or can it be something with my microphone drivers or something?
i really dont understand why those setups are not build better in a little chamber with no water in the air and automated gpu block temperature control for way more temp stability.
Why don't you just automate the process? As in hook an arduino up to the temp monitor and something to measure the amount in it, couple servos and you can have it fully automated. Half the work done
Keep this videos coming. Love them.
These vids are super entertaining, wifey even watches them with me.
I am going to keep on hitting the like button until you reach 18000. I believe in you!
jay getting so into this is genuinely adorable and wholesome. cant we all relate to like that hobby we like doing that's slightly frustrating at times but so rewarding when we finally get something
Is there a type of mounting strategy where you could use a torque wrench so it would be more consistently repeatable? It seems like even if you find the ideal pressure it would be tough to replicate with the C clamp method. Also since you're a motorhead I would imagine you have a machinist you could call on to make a custom mounting bracket instead of using stock parts that just aren't cutting it. I'm pretty far from being an engineer of any sort... but I would think that a bracket that is essentially the bottom half of a pyramid would transfer the mounting pressure closer to the die itself and maybe take care of the issue you mentioned about the wide spacing on the mount.
i always like watching your videos, Right now i am in process in getting stuff to build a gaming pc and right now not sure if i want to do radiator and air cooling or go liquid cooling. When time comes maybe i will make up my mind.
Watched a computer crash for 20 minutes - still fun. Recommend
warm it up with my vaccum??
Use LN2 on some old ass video cards and scoop up all the records.
You know the overclocking is gonna be grand when the liquid nitrogen is in use
What a meathead... Can't believe you would say "Bruh"
It is nice to see the trial and error process. For some reason showing the process of taking steps forward, backward (learning something new), and forward again gets hidden to the point that people assume that any step backward ever isn't part of the progression forward. If you just posted a single video "look I made the number, biggly" it wouldn't be interesting in the least. Seeing you take and work out these smaller steps (in either direction) is actually great, thanks for your work.
Love these videos man! Makes me want to go back and fiddle with my pc more! Hey quick question is 130° f safe for a 2070 super?
now we talk
Thanks for the videos J, you inspired me to love computers again!
Definitely keep making these videos. I find this kinda shit fascinating :D Would literally sit and watch you do this for hours and hours whilst I work haha
That FD tho 🥵
You would be a beast if you work out!
Obsession is brilliant to watch.
It is very interesting to watch Jay (not the ID-10-T) battle with the Pros!
I find these videos fascinating.
Good to see you back doing sub-zero! It IS good content and if you like it, you should do it. I can understand if it was getting crap views, but it looks to be the same as your other content.
What should I do
I was thinking of upgrading my ram to 16gb ram 3000mhz
Jay I have a CyberPowerPC - Gamer Master Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 3 3100 - 8GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 570 - 1TB HDD + 240GB SSD And my warzone on low settings keep crashing
I actually enjoy putting these on, even if its just in the background while I do other stuff on my PC
Just curious - how do you turn on the power without a case? Looks like there might be a switch on the motherboard?
Get it Jay!
this is like watching Dr. Frankenstein working on the monster - we are all rooting for you...yet, don't try this at home...
Really enjoy these extreme overclocking videos, i totally appreciate your patience and determination to achieve your goal. Also Props+ on the NDF wallpaper!
Dont stop the ln2 pls pls pls
nice video
Just realized I can scroll down while the video is full screen.. - Comment for AL
Its not the MOST interesting video type, but I’ll take this over nothing. And I actually like this sort of stuff better than new GPU/CPU releases cause it’s more DIY type. Like anyone can do this. Yeah not everyone has a giant vat of LN2 but just trying to get the very best performance from your setup or for your use case is something anyone can do.
I know you hate advice, but why not try ro run the cpu radiator through chilled water and blow your ac over the motherboard?
Consider me “engaged with it” ✌️
You need a Ln2 cheerleading team in the background to spur you on!
Sure, people like to see that. People love the underdog and in ln2OC, you are :D
Love the video quality guys
that moment when you turn on the camera and it doesn't do what you expected it to do.
i love your videos. It commands my attention. Seriously not a fan boy i think its your real time realizism if that is a think. just saying
Hey Jay, I was wondering if you could do a breakdown video for Ram memory error. I have a pair of Vengeance LPX 16gb @3200. I've tried to OC with a Ryzen 5 2600. Any help would be also great.
JAY! Take a C-Clamp, cut the handle off it, weld a nut to the stud, use a torque wrench while tightening the clamp, and thus insuring that you have absolute consistent pressure from run to run. Increase or decrease the torque settings and record your results. No more guessing. IF you are gonna get serious about a record, its time to take it up a level.
Aren't you bottlenecking with intels pcie 3.0 and not 4.0? Plus isn't amd better now
don't stop i like these vids
I thought interference from the mic didn't help in the past?
Hey there, watching this is incredible. I had a thought though watching this and have a question. Would it be better to freeze both ends of a heatsink instead of directly on the card? like a metal rod that is on the processor and then keeps the metal rod cold by freezing both ends. Hope this brings some ideas, thanks again.
I don't know what sorcery this is, but i like it.
rotate the rad! tubes o the bottom! JK
Why dont they run the pc's in a walk in freezer on top of the liquid nitrogen, would be -30C on the rest of the components.
What if instead of using the "fastest" CPU, you use the most stable and fast CPU?
maybe try linux?
I always wanted to get the best 486 parts and see how fast I could get it to run games like quake.
This comment is to help with Al Gore Rhythm
keep the LN2 vids! its something i probably will never be able to do and seeing other people doing still gives me enjoyment
It’s amazing how much the poring technique has improved! =D Keep the videos coming and good luck, great entertainment.
The ad that played before this vid started was Linus doing an ad for Honey LMFAO anyone else have that? Just thought it was funny
What I love about your videos is there’s always that feeling that I’m about to be told off for something.
Did you try Ryzen 5000 so far when IPC helps?
This is called science, Jay. A million failures are just the steps needed for success.
you got this man!
This might be a thing that I'm just not aware of but is it possible to get/use a torque measurement when attached the pot to get a more consistent mount?
Jay "66" Monitor "shows 64 fps" Me clenching my ass cheecks because jay said not to give advice
I often wonder what linux with proton could do for OC, since you can really lock down what's happening in the background, unlike Win10.
dont giv up mate.
Wait... square centimeters? O_o Are you not supposed to be an American? ... you know square feet or square toes maybe?
Honestly I like you more than this. I frankly think this is dumb and pointless. You can't play games on it...and it's unsustainable. I would much rather see next gen cooling solutions that make a workable and useable PC. Plus, almost none of us can do that. I find it a waste of time.
